Trusting God in Uncharted Territory

Aug 27, 2026    PT

Drawing from Joshua 3, this sermon explores what it means to follow God through unfamiliar and uncertain seasons of life. Using the imagery of a GPS that reroutes unexpectedly, the speaker challenges believers to trust God even when the path ahead is unknown. Just as the Israelites faced the flooded Jordan River under new leadership and with no precedent for what God was about to do, we too face moments where our circumstances are beyond our experience or control. The sermon emphasizes that God often changes his methods while remaining unchanged in his character, and that he works inwardly in believers before acting outwardly on their behalf. Ultimately, the message calls the church to remember what God has done, to consecrate themselves before him, and to boldly tell others about the miracles and trials God has brought them through.
